Solar Sales Ai Coach

ClearSky Energy Sales Coach solves slow ramp-up and low close rates by simulating 5-min sales roleplays with real objections. Reps get instant coaching, boosting close rates and cutting training time.

This project was created using a blend of Google Docs for organizing content and ChatGPT to build the training dialogue and coaching logic.

The Problem.

ClearSky Energy faced long ramp-up times for new sales reps and inconsistent performance in closing deals. Many reps struggled with handling objections and lacked confidence in live customer conversations. This resulted in missed sales opportunities, low morale, and a need for more hands-on coaching than the team could scale.

The Solution

I created a custom ChatGPT-powered chatbot designed to simulate real solar sales conversations. Reps interact with a virtual “customer” in 5-minute roleplays that include realistic objections and varying buyer personas.

After each session, the chatbot switches to coaching mode, offering personalized feedback, highlighting missed opportunities, and reinforcing high-converting strategies based on proven sales techniques.

This AI tool allows reps to practice independently and get instant feedback—reducing dependency on manager availability and creating a consistent training experience across the team.
